I have reviewed Pokemon Volcano before but that was a long time ago, I thought it would be a good idea to revisit this free Pokemon MMORPG and see how it is travelling.This free Pokemon Volcano is pretty good and one great idea is it doesn’t need for you to download anything, no downloading and installing a program – the pokemon game is completely run in a browser window. So just register at the site and then you can start playing.

As usual, you start with one starter Pokemon and off you go trying to capture new Pokemon and train up to be your ultimate Pokemon team so you can win Gym medals and from that you take your chance trying to defeat a gym leader.I am not that good a player but they say that if you get to a certain level of Pokemon Trainer you get to be able to enter an exclusive area called Pokemon Safary Park and it is meant to have new , unseen Pokemon to battle and capture. I have no idea if this is still valid or not as I can’t find any info on Safary Park on the site or in the forums.

Anyway, about the game itself, well of course it is free otherwise I wouldn’t be reviewing it. The gameplay itself is pretty fast, moving around the maps is very good, some other games it seems like every time you move your trainer you need to wait for the screen to refresh – not so with this free online pokemon game. As with all the online pokemon mmorpgs you get to battle other trainers live, online – this is what makes these games great and the reason, I guess, that most people play – that is why I do anyway. It has chat system as well but I never tried it out.

The Pokemon available are all the original Pokemon plus shiny, dark and metal Pokemon as well and they say they are developing some completely new Pokemon which would be interesting.If you need a hint to find the legendary Pokemon in Rock Town – try Regirock, in a cave area, at the right side of the cave, beside the stone in the cave.

Here are some other hints and tips for Pokemon Volcano. I haven’t tried any so can only guess that they work.
Get Manaphy:
-Get all the gym badges and then go in the grass or the water for a while until you find Manaphy.
Easter Egg - find Arboks in the wild:
-In the wild you have about a 15% chance to see an Arbok even at level 1.
Increase Pokemon EXP quickly:
-First go to Renato then search for Pokemon near grain and you will always fight a Diglet that has very low life but give a lot of EXP, thanks to it my Torterra is level 80 and my Charizard is level 79.

A new free pokemon RPG - Pokemon Grass

I have tracked down another free pokemon game. This game is a proper online RPG game not like the Pokemon Indigo or Pokemon Crater style game. This isn't really a graphic based game like most - they are based a bit on Pokemon games from the original Gameboy and DS game carts - this game is like the old fashioned text based ones. So there is no wandering around a map using your curser keys or mouse, it is completely forum based. Forum based?What does that mean? Pretty much you have a starter Pokemon then you post, someone replies, you post again. Pretty boring hey?

Is it worth playing - quick answer, no. Long answer - no. I couldn't play at all and when I look on the forums it hasn't been played for a while. No one is around, no players at all. Maybe it get busy on some days but I doubt that.

This is one free Pokemon game that even for free is not worth visiting and trying out. I guess you want to know the name but I am not putting a link down. It is called Pokemon Grass.

Free Online Pokemon Games - Pokemon-Area

This free Pokemon online game that I am reviewing is called Pokemon-Area. It is a pretty good game to play and has all the Pokemon MMORPG components you would like.
It look like any of the other games, I guess, just like a free version of a DS or GBA game. The graphics are not really similar to these cart games. It has the same style but not the same quality. I think the graphics lets it down a lot - have a look at the battle screen - the Pokemon themselves are just too small. Maps are a little better I guess.
But of course it's an online play, where you not just play against other Pokemon but online players around the world. This where all the fun is - getting to battle against some other trainer that is a real person and not a computer. I didn't get to try this out as at the time it seems there was no-one else online - maybe it was because of the time-zone I am in in fact I am sure I didn't get to try every option and area in this game.
It looks to be a fairly popular game with lots of members and seems to be updated pretty often which is an important things to note with a free Pokemon Online game. Lots of options makes it really good but graphics let it down. The whole site works well and sign on was a breeze.
Give this game a try and comment with your thoughts whether it is good or bad or you have something better?

I seem to get a lot of comments asking "what's the best free online Pokemon game", "what's a great online Pokemon game", "what online Pokemon MMORPG is the best to play" ... stuff like that.
To be honest I have played a whole heap of them and they are are kind of the same, they most be or they would not be a Pokemon game. What sets the good games and bad games apart is the small things that make a huge difference - things like speed of the site, how often the servers are offline, how many members play. Like all games, the littles things matter.

The best of the best free online Pokemon was / is Pokemon Crater
But there are plenty of others to try out, just go through this site and I am sure you will find one.

Some Pokemon games have not been updated for ages but are still playable other games are updated but are not quite good enough still. I know the games are free and made by fans but you still want one that is fun to play, fast, and has enough online players to play against. Enjoy.

Pokemon Creed - free online Pokemon game

A quick review of another free Pokemon game. This one is called Pokemon Creed.
This game doesn't need any downloads like some of these free ones do, it is completely playable in your browser. Sign up was simple, it just took a few moments and I was done, looking at the player list it has almost 500 members signed up - but when I played there was only two only, one being me. That doesn't seem very good if there are not many players online.

The graphics for the game are OK I guess. Maps are typical gameboy graphic style, the Waterfall, Wilderness Volcano and Palm Beach maps look pretty good. The battle screen is a bit of a let down. The Pokemon are just too small, it would be nice to have them a bit bigger (actually a lot bigger) and a little animation in the sprite would be a nice touch as well.

The Pokemon battle system itself works well, though. It is just like a proper Nintendo game and that's good isn't it? Of course you can battle random Pokemon that you encounter plus NPC characters as well as other players that are online. And speaking of the types of Pokemon you can find , there arenot just the normal and shiny varieties but Luminous, Shadow, Cursed, Rainbow and Golden.

The site has player rankings (actually they have rankings for just about everything), forums and a chatroom to talk to other players. There are markets and trade area to buy and sell Pokemon although I never tried that part out so I don't know how well it works. In the top corner it says One Day Promo and looks like you can get a free rare Pokemon, so I suppose they do random things like that to keep the excitement in the game and make it a bit different from other sites.

Online Pokemon Game - Pokemon Omega

Another free online Pokemon game is called Pokemon Omega - play it whenever you want, just sign up for an account. Once you have an account, you just login to site whenever you feel like playing a game. You start the game, like most of these types of free Pokemon games, by choosing a starter Pokemon and then go exploring the worlds hoping to catch more.
This game is that much different to other online games like Pokemon Crater, the layout and game play is pretty good and it's web based so no download is needed. The site layout is fairly good giving you easy access to all areas you want to use. And the trading system has been well thought of and works just as I like.
They say they are using official Pokemon game data, well maybe but don't think it is any way an official game by Nintendo. Pokemon Omega matches up not just the Pokemon types but also Stats to make the battles even better. This means that if you really are into Pokemon online games, and who isn't :), leveling up, battling and overall gameplay is not just a quicktime thing but a full on game.
They also say they have used Ajax style programming to make the game faster and it does seem so. It acts a lot faster than a lot of other games I have played - I don't have to wait for the screen to refresh every time I take a step in the map areas - a real pain on other games.
The game designer seem to have a good ranking system in place. Although I couldn't really tell, they say it is based on Trainer Points that you get by winning battles, completing certain achievement and things like that. The battles themselves will have a bit of animation, nothing like the battle animation in Wii Pokemon Battle - don't expect that, and the world map acts a little like world maps in real games - not bad at all. At the moment the game is in early Beta but still not a bad effort, not many people seem to be online, maybe that will change!

Pokemon Kryptonite Free Online Game

Pokemon Kryptonite (strange name, is it a cross between Pokemon and Superman?) is another of these online Pokemon games. Of course like all the others it is a fanmade and managed game and completely free to play. One great thing is it is a completely browser based game so that means ever Apple Mac OSX user can play this free Pokemon game.

I played the game for an hour or so, it's OK but for me a little slow when moving about the maps - I tried the exploration areas of the game - way too slow and very boring - nothing like a gameboy game but then again I guess it is not meant to be. The battles were pretty good as you can see I beat Zero's Kryptonite Lugia in one shot - Head Smash - with my little Gible. The online battles are not in real time like some of the really good Pokemon MMORPGs out there - meaning you are not playing against a live player, instead you are battling their Pokemon that is computer controlled.

I am not sure of what type of community this game has got as it looks like the top players are just after a high score in money, level or referrals. A few players say they are online nearly all the time but when I was there the site said there were only two players, me being one. They have about 750 Pokemon players but I am thinking that only a small percentage of these are actually active players. Hey, give it a go, it's Pokemon, it's free, so it's all good.

Pokemon MMORPG Mystery Dungeon Hunters of Life

I have tracked down another Pokemon MMORPG but this one doesn't seem worth trying. Someone left a comment saying to try out Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Hunters of Life. I have tried to register to be able to play but I never receive a email to be able to confirm my address, so I can never be a member of this free Pokemon online game.

The idea of the game seems pretty good as normally these online games you play as a trainer only but the game gives you the option of playing as a Pokemon trainer or a Pokemon character (I guess just like an online version of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon).

There are a few pictures showing the maps, they look good and they say it is an original Pokemon storyline with 20 complete game chapters. It seems like it has a number of members (not sure how many) playing but without being able to log in and play online against others I can not really say how it is.

Free Pokemon MMORPG - PokemonCraft

This is a pretty good Free Pokemon MMORPG game. I have been a member for a while now and although I don't get to play this game often it still looks to be one of the best online multiplayer Pokemon games that are like the great GBA Pokemon games in the past but even better.
This game is constantly getting updated which is a good thing, some other Pokemon RPGs are lagging in this department.
PokemonCraft has great maps from 3rd generation GBA games and has 4th generation GBA game play, including Effort Values and Individual Values points system - that is the latest Pokemon Game system! The market/trade system looks to work well here and lots of effort is made to stop cheating. yay! you can even enter some buildings, very cool and very advanced for a free Pokemon game.
The Pokedex for this RPG is very comprehensive and you can quickly sort for , say, electric Pokemon. PokemonCraft Pokedex lists all Pokemon from Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver Pokemon. And check out the the fantastic avatars they have drawn - so professional. well done folks. Of course any decent RPG needs and good chat system and this free Pokemon game doesn't disappoint, there is even a private message system. It works well and does the job.

Free Online Pokemon Game - The Pokemon League

I have had a comment to try out this free online Pokemon game - The Pokemon League. The website itself looks fine although a little sparse, it doesn't show much unless you are a registered player.
The online game itself is pretty much like most free online Pokemon games, there seems to be a good number of players but the game hasn't been updated since last year and I have heard in the forums that it maybe be shutting down altogether.
One thing I am not keen on is the money system. In the game there is two money systems - Coins and PokeDollars. It seems to be a confusing mix and one designed to make the Pokemon game maker some money. You will find a lot of the time you cannot afford items unless you donate and buy coins.
A barely passable Pokemon game. I would give it a miss as there are better Pokemon Crater type games around but then again it is free so seeing it doesn't cost try it out and you never know it might be just the Pokemon game you are looking for.

Free Online Pokemon Game - Pokemon Deluge

A new free pokemon game has popped up. Well it is new to me but apparently it has been going for a year. It seems to be a typical online Pokemon RPG and has all the right stuff but I do have concerns with speed, even the various pages on their website times out sometimes.
Pokemon Deluge is another free online game where you can catch your own online Pokemon and battle them against other online players and even trade them. So when you sign up, you get to choose a starter Pokemon and then you walk around one of the maps until another one appears, battle it and try to capture it. If you capture it, it will be added to your team. Build up your Pokemon team to battle other people, just like all pokemon games and typical of free pokemon rpg games. Of course you can catch legendary Pokémon you just need to beat the gyms and elite4 of a particular region and then you are able to find legends that belong to the region. They are rare though, so hard to find.
Pokemon Deluge rpg is made by an Indian student from Mangalore and is having a birthday special and making rare Pokemon such as shiny, dark and metallic Pokemon easier to find for the next few days. Check it out.http:/pokemondeluge.com

Free MMORPG Pokemon game - PokeNet

Pokenet another Pokemon MMORPG I have tracked down. The makers say it is an open-source and completely free game. I think it was previously known as the free online game called Pokemon Online Revolution and Pokemon Global. Reading about Pokenet it seems that it has been developed and tested for many years.
It doesn't need much of a computer to play it on and uses Java, thats the client. You can also be a server if you want to serve up a good free Pokemon RPG.
It seems to have quite a few members and players so worth a try don't you think?

Just a small Online Pokemon update.
I have tracked down another free online Pokemon MMORPG that is being developed, nothing really to show but they promise it will be like an online Pokemon Platinum game but have MMORPG elements in it. This is good news so I will keep an eye on it.

It is called Pokemon Net Realm, they say they will revolutionise the online Pokemon battle world with their handmade game client with bits like advanced PvP (person v person) battling and join-able teams and groups. We'll see if that happens.

I know I have posted before about this game but it has been a while and last time it was at v2.4 now it is at version 4.8, wow time sure does fly when you are making online Pokemon games.
It is at a new web address and is on new servers but I am pretty sure it is the same person involved in the older pokemon game as they left a comment on the older post.

He says Pokemon Neon Online is quickly climbing up above Pokemon Cyrus and any other Pokemon MMO around. They are on a completly stable server, have a new chat system, re-vamped battle system, and more. Sounds good doesn't it?

is the best online Pokemon game around. Pity I can't find it anymore. There is a site that looks the same and pretends it’s Crater but it is not good like the original.

Pokemon Crater Cheats And Hints

I am not sure how these Pokemon Crater Cheats work as I thought Pokemon Crater had ceased. Maybe there are some private servers with Pokemon Crater running and you need to be invited to get an account. Anyway, here is a big batch of cheats and hints for Pokemon Crater, hope they all work because I haven’t tried them.

Pokemon Crater Legendary Pokemon: Defeat all 32 Gym Leaders and the 16 Elite Leaders to catch Legendary Pokemon. Note: Train almost all your Pokemon to level 100.

Pokemon Crater Online Hint: If you want to train up your Pokemon, then go and battle any member that's computer controlled and type in Zeda and what type of Pokemon you want to train up. Then click battle member. There, it's as simple as that.

Hint: Capture a Mewto first: You need to travel to any tournament and win the challenge. You will then be awarded with a prize. Now go to capture a wild Pokemon, as you have caught a Mewto you have the choice to select any Pokemon at any level. Choose level 2 and leave the Select Pokemon blank. The Pokemon you had battled in the tournament will show up again. Defeat it in one blow and you will again be awarded with the same prize of the tournament you had previously won. You can do this over and over.

Recommended Pokemon Moves: Attacks that share a type with your Pokemon will do more damage than those of other types even with the same power level. Also, these moves are not effective against Bug, Fighting and Water types. Aura Sphere (Fighting-type attacks) are very effective against Dark, Ice,Normal, Rock, and Steel. Aurora Beam (Ice-type attacks) are very effective against Dragon, Flying, Grass, and Ground. Fissure (Ground-type attacks) are very effective against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, and Steel. Dark Pulse (Dark-type attacks) are very effective against Psychic,Ghost/Move that are related to your Pokemon types.

Recommended Pokemon: It is best to have one Sableye/Spiritomb on your team. They have no real weakness. It is unfair for people to fight a team of more than one Sableye, I think. Choose a Pokemon that have less weaknesses. By doing this you will have more resistance against your opponent.

Pokemon Crater V7 Cheat: 1. Open 5 tabs of Pokemon Crater Login 2. Login to all tabs with the same account details 3. Make sure that all tabs have different servers, like Alpha, Beta, Delta, Epsilon, Gamma 4. Open Battle Computer Controlled in all Tabs 5. Type the account you want to battle, like you want to train Taillow lv.8 then Type ZedjaFlying in all tabs 6. In first tab don't start the battle just leave it and in the other four tabs start the battle 7. Attack Once In 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th Tabs 8. Go to first tab 9. Right click then go to Reload Every > Custom 10. Set it to 0 Minutes 1 Second then right click and choose Reload Every > Enable All Tabs 11. Then a menu will appear so click Yes 12. Go to every tab and do this, right click and choose Reload Every > 10Mins 13. Then it will be automatically battling 14. When the 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th Tab comes up with 'Error team is not set' or 'You already won the battle' that means the battle has finished and you won! 15. In any tab, right click and choose Reload Every > Disable All Tabs, then open your team and that Pokemon has 120,000+ EXP!! If you train a lv.8 Pokemon then you will get 195,000 EXP!

Crater Online Hint: You can get many legendary Pokemon around the high level map that's part of the first cave map . You can get a Groudon very frequently this way.

Hidden houses: This is just in case you didn't know this in Pokémon Crater. The little houses on a couple of the grass maps are able to be entered. Yes, you can go in them. I haven't heard of a Pokemon in any of them though but some trainers and computer trainers hide out in them.

As Many Pokemon Battles as You Want in one time: First you have to open as many pages of Pokemon Crater as you want, for example five or six. Then write your User ID and Password in all of the pages. Do any battle that you want in all of the open pages. When you win the battles you will see that you have got all experience and money from every single battle. It will also save you a little time because you will be able to do more then one battle at a time.

Infinity Experience: Train one of your Pokémon to its maximum level then keep on training it it will still gain more EXP and it's an easier to get on the Top Pokemon Trainers List. I've seen more people get on the top trainers list by using this method.

Get Lots Of Legendaries: If you caught a Legendary Pokemon then put it up for trade. For example, you caught a Kyogre, then put it up for trade, then just catch another one. This way you can get as many Kyogre's as you like.

Craters Ditto Clone: The Ditto clone is a chance Ditto like Pokemon. It looks like a Ditto with a nose arrow going down. It only appears at level 12 and only appears on the Lava Map. It knows and can learn the following moves: Transform (but only does 30HP damage always), Psychic, Tackle, Moonlight, Harden, Protect This Ditto Clone is called Ditto* in the game but unfortunately it only goes up to level 75.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Online is looking like it will be a really good free Pokemon game to play online (of course it's online, it's in the name :) ).
I have read that the free game developers at Pokemon Mystery Universe are developing a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon style MMORPG that will be free of course. They are a small but friendly community of fans so it looks like a game to look out for.

The game has seven different Base Type Pokemon to choose from when you begin your game. The seven are Grass, Fire, Water, Normal, Electric, Psychic and Ground. As an egg you enter different paths to decide which Pokemon you want to be. All Pokemon have some type of special ability, such as walking through fire. They say some abilities haven't been decided yet but the game is just starting so it will come.
Like I said a good free Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Online mmorpg game to watch.

Pokemon Den Of Ages Free Online RPG Game

It has been a while since I last wrote about the Pokemon: Den Of Ages game. This free Pokemon game has a new home and a new version since I last looked.

Just this week they have got the new Server Yellow online and the online game is now at v4.0 public release and ready to download. Now, of course there will be some bugs I guess but it is a milestone to get Pokemon Den Of Ages RPG this far! Well done to the folks Involved and the coder and founder, Silver.

This Pokemon game is worth another look if you have played it for a while.

Pokemon Neon Free Online RPG

Another free online pokemon mmorpg game has popped up. This game is made in RPG Maker XP, along with netplay. This is an online Pokémon game made a bit like Pokemon Cyrus and Pokemon Crater. It has been worked on for several years, it is at version 2.4 at the moment.

A little about the history of this game. The programmer said he really wanted to make his own online pokemom rpg games, but didn’t want to make a normal Pokemon game he wanted a game where you could interact with other players online. He said he used the free MMO RPG maker a server called Netplay, and Pokemon Quest Online, is now Pokemon Neon! The game screenshots look very very good don’t you think.

Pokemon Crater Free Online Pokemon Game

Most people would say Pokemon Crater, the free online Pokemon RPG game, was the best free version ever. I think it was pretty good but the best, I don’t know about that. There are a lot of free Pokémon games to play online and some are very good – or course some are very bad as well.

I keep getting comments and reading around the web that the Pokemon Crater game will be starting up again, this is not true. First it was starting back in May, then August, the last was December the 1st. The truth is the developer has no intentions of starting this up again so it’s best to find a great replacement.

This site has a huge list of probably every free Pokemon game around, well what I can find anyway. Please, if you know of any comment and let me know so I can play it and at least try the game out. I am , after all, a huge Pokémon game fan! Give me a great free Pokemom RPG game any day.

Free Pokemon Adventure MMORPG on Facebook

This Pokemon Adventure online game is the second free Pokemon game on Facebook I have found so far. It seems to be much the same as the other one (called Send Pokemon) and actually could be the same game . So far has it has five thousand people playing this online game.
So if you have a facebook account and you love Pokemon you should try this new pokemon online game! This game needs no downloading required and it saves automatically when you exit.
Another free online Pokemon game added to my list. Search face book for Pokemon Adventure to find it.

Free Pokemon Game - Pokemon Indigo

Pokemon Indigo is one of the big names in the Free Online Pokemon game scene and went up a notch after the demise of Pokemon Crater Battle Arena.
It is still a great online Pokemon game and is still being developed all the time with lots a lots of online player battling away with their Pokemon. It is currently up to version 1.2. I haven't played there for a little while now but I have read that a lot of players are using the firebug hack to get any pokemon characters they want. That would be a shame and would spoil the game. I have found another great Free Online Pokemon Game. This one is called Pokemon World Online and it seems to be designed and run by the same person that makes another good Pokemon game, Pokemon Battle Arena (his 2008 version of Pokemon Crater). Must be a busy person to have two online games in development at the same time!
They say it is at Version 0.7, has a brand new GUI and has improvements such as a Night and Day system.
Players can, of course, battle, train and catch Pokemon. You can chat to friends and re-order Pokemon in your very own Pokemon PC located in the Pokecentre. Pokemon Level Up and Gain experience with every Battle. The site even has a forum to post, chat and hang out with other Pokemon players.

Pokemon Online Adventures Free MMORPG Game

A Free Online Pokemon game that, for some reason, I haven't seen before. It seems to have a couple of names POL (Pokemon Online) or Pokemon:The Online Adventures, mostly Pokemon Online. The game has been in development for a few years and still isn't available ... I have read maybe in 2009!
Pokemon Online is a game where you can walk and talk to other Pokemon players instantly from around he world and you will be able to battle friends. It will be proper MMORPG Pokemon game, completely free. Look out for it.
There will be 28 starter Pokemon - but don't choose the one you want out of 28, you get a randomly chosen one and Pokemon have a lvl limit of 100 (good).

Free Online Pokemon MMORPG - Ekaiyo

Man, I have just found out about an upcoming Free Online Pokemon MMORPG and does it look good! It will be called Ekaiyo and when (and if) it gets finalised enough to be released it will be the big Pokemon game that all the others will try to beat.
The big difference between this game and other free online Pokemon games like Pokemon Crater or Pokemon Indigo, is the fantastic 3D rendered world and characters - not rendered as good as Pokemon Battle Revolution on the Nintendo Wii but still, really good.
They have been slowly building this game for a year or so, so hopefully it will be released in the near future.
A great Free Pokemon RPG to play online - look out for it!

Pokemon Moon Free Online Pokemon RPG - now v1.0

Pokemon Moon RPG is a pretty good free online Pokemon game. I have reviewed it a few times before so I won't go into how this Pokemon game plays but this latest version promises a huge speed increase and better playability because lag has been removed.

If you haven't played Pokemon Moon RPG for a while try it again now v1.0 has been released, you may be pleasantly suprised.

Pokemon Global Online Like Pokemon Crater

I posted back in May about the great free Pokemon Global Online game and as I have said before, if you are hanging out to play Pokemon Crater Battle Arena and are disappointed that it is not available any more well give this game a try. Now, of course, it's a free pokemon game but check the screenshots out - doesn't it look great? The reason for this post? Pokemon Global Online has just released an update, it is now Beta v1.5.
News is that they are going to have a no download free Pokemon game, can't wait!

Pokemon Global Online is a great free Pokemon game that has been developing for a long time. This online pokemon game has recently had a big push in it development with new people on board to make it even better.
The couple of screen shots look promising, very promising and I look forward to it getting better and better. I am thinking that this will be the free online Pokemon game that will be better the the famed Pokemon Crater Battle Arena v7. A tall ask but I think it will happen.

Pokemon Project - free online Pokemon game

Pokemon Project is a brand new free MMO Pokemon game experience and is designed around the first Second and third generations of the original Nintendo Pokemon games. They say it wont be a copy of other free online Pokemon games because it will have a new system to become the ultimate Pokemon Trainer.
In the game there is Pokemon Breeding and building (not sure about this),you can groom and clean you captured Pokemon (no help in the battles but for other contests) and of course you can normally train the Pokemon.
It still has developing to do but this is build to be a great free online Pokemon game.

I posted before about the free pokemon game called The Pokemon Moon and it was pretty good but there is a new version out now that is even better. Pokemon Moon v.7x is re-written and much better and faster than the earlier one. It gives players a unique Free Online Pokemon RPG experience - one mixed with Pokemon and fantasy games. With those two components mixed together, the possibilities are expanded; Mining, Fishing, Feeding, Story Mode, Berry Patches, Minigames, etc. - try it out.

Pokemon Cyrus Revelation

Pokemon Cyrus Revelation is looking to be a pretty good online Pokemon game. It is Beta at the moment so it's not running all the time but give it a go anyway.
The game has a great Pokedex where you can search for information about any Pokemon. The game is pretty much like the graphics from Ruby/Saphire/Emerald/Fire Red/Leaf Green versions of Nintendo Pokemon games for the Game Boy or the DS, now add lots of Team Rocket goons running around and that's Pokemon Cyrus Revelation.
Cyengine . Not sure what this free Pokemon RPG is doing at the moment.

the new Pokemon Crater for 2008

I think this will be the new Pokemon Crater for 2008 (maybe you could say it's Pokemon Crater Battle Arena version 8).

Pokedox is an MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game) in the making by a person by the name of Ryan. His goal through this personal project is to create a game similar to those of the Gameboy series, except all online and very interactive. He hopes of generating a community of Pokemon fans that are interested in this kind of game he is making.
Essentially he wants to create an extremely high quality game everyone will enjoy, along with some other interesting knick knacks to be quite fond of.
Looks like its a good free pokemon game.

Pokemon Arena Project

Pokemon Arena Project.

What is the Pokemon Arena Project? This is a huge fighting smash em up game (Like Nintendos Super Smash Bros Melee).

Pokemon Arena Project will eventually contain all the Pokemon but first they are concentrating on the main characters. It will have Bulbasaur, Charmander ,Squirtle, Meowth, Pickachu, Pichu, Machop, Chicorita , Totodile, Cyndaquill, Tyrouge ,Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, and Riolu .

Levels will include random opponents, Team Battles and Boss battles. Boss Battles are the Legendary Pokemon Battles and are Usually a 3 on 1 basis if theyre huge like Groudon but ones like Mew or Mewtwo, Teams will be optional. After the Legendaries are Beaten a number of times, they will become playable.
This looks like it will be one of the Best Free Online Pokemon Games for 2008.
