Pokemon Den of Ages, Free MMORPG

Pokemon Den of Ages (PDoA), a Free MMORPG was an old game I played that’s probably not around, not sure. Maybe search and find it. Only a small review from what I remember of this free game.

Pokemon Den of Ages was a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). In PDoA, you were able to collect, train, and trade Pokemon in real time with hundreds of other people from across the world.

You could also engage in Trainer vs. Trainer combat, collect Pokemon, trade Pokemon with other trainers, level them up via training, pursue Professions to earn money, or even open your own store. You were also be able to compete in tournaments to gain fame and fortune in the virtual world of Pokemon.

It’s a game that you needed to download and install on a windows computer, its wasn’t a browser based game.

Pokémon Vortex is a free online Pokemon MMORPG like Pokemon Crater

Pokémon Vortex is a free online Pokémon MMORPG that is modelled off Pokémon Crater. It has many of the same features as Crater, as well as some new ones. It’s being going along since at least 2011, I think, a massive time for a free fan based game.

The most significant change in Interactive World - v5 was the newly developed interactive live map system. Breaking the mould of 20+ years of Pokémon Crater and Pokémon Vortex, there is now a live map system where you may run around an interactive environment with your pals in real-time, discovering all of your favourite Pokémon from every area.
The potential for the future that this new universe offers to Pokémon Vortex have everyone thrilled, and we're glad to have you here to see it.

In-game clans are one of the few ways to connect with other players and play the game together. Join forces to become the most infamous gang of gamers on Pokémon Vortex and take control of the clan rankings. Many of the most prominent clans even have their own tiny communities on Discord or Facebook, where they will conduct prizes and their own events.

The game has PokéBay, it is an auction system in which users may sell products, Pokémon, avatars, and promo tickets to other players. Auctions have minimum starting prices, and as the price of the auction grows, so does the minimum bid requirement. PokéBay has extensive search, filter, and order features to help consumers discover precisely what they're searching for. When a player finds what they're searching for, they may visit an auction to see bid history and other information about the Pokémon/avatar/promo code/item being auctioned. PokéBay features a watch list where you can keep track of auctions you wish to bid on later or simply want to know the outcome of when they end.

On Pokémon Vortex, you can battle through the gyms to gather all of the badges from Kanto, Johto, Orange Islands, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar, as well as the Elite 4's/Champions from these areas. I guess like all Pokemon games really. You may also combat your friends and other online users by visiting their profile page or searching for a username on the battle page. There are additional side quests with awards and you progress through the Pokémon games' regions like as Kanto to acquire experience, money, goods.

Pokémon Vortex has its own six varieties of Pokémon to acquire, totalling approximately 7,000+ Pokémon. As usual you get Normal, Shiny, Dark, Mystic, Metallic, and Shadow are the different sorts.
They have numerous leaderboards on Pokémon Vortex, the most important of which is the worldwide top trainers list, which may be ranked in four different ways, allowing you four distinct chances to reach the list. The main order is determined by points, which are computed using all of your account's characteristics like total experience, average experience, unique Pokémon, and battle count are all ways the top trainer list can be ranked.

The game has a fairly extensive trading system in which you search for, offer, and list your own Pokémon for trade. Using the trade boards might also help you discover a certain Pokémon or criteria. The Pokédex allows you to keep track of all the Pokémon in your account. This page covers every Pokémon available on Vortex in all six varieties that you own and require. Pokémon you possess are shown with the Pokéball they were captured in, whereas Pokémon you require are shown with a shaded out Pokéball.

Evolution of your Pokemon, as expected, is accessible on the free Pokemon Vortex. Many Pokemon develop via combat levelling, although others need an elemental stone, which may be acquired at the PokéMart, particular gender criteria, or happiness. There are also Pokémon that must be evolved at a specified time of day; these Pokémon will develop according to the time zone you selected on your account.

Pokémon Vortex online game has its own in-game messaging system via which you can immediately contact with other users, save sent messages, and keep received messages in your inbox. Its simple to send and receive a message and you may also stop someone by hitting the block option on their profile. In addition to leaving offline messages for users to read when they return online, this fan game has an in-game live chat system that sits in a bar at the bottom of every game page.

The game seems to have a really friendly and inclusive community and they have a few ways of staying in touch and sharing info and having fun. There is Discord, where you can post, comment, audio, and video chat with other Pokémon Vortex players as well as participate in little comps they have often to win in-game goodies. Then there are the forums the Pokemon Vortex has, where you can trade, share art, participate in contests. They also have a Twitter account for this free game, its not updated very often and seems its for announcements only.

PokeOne, a beautiful looking MMORPG and its free.

PokeOne, a beautiful looking MMORPG and its free.

Basic info - PokéOne is a multi-player online role-playing game created by a group of self-taught developers with a passion for the Pokémon franchise. Because PokéOne is set in the Kanto and Johto regions (like in Pokemon Gold/Silver), you'll find the old-school key aspects of Pokémon in this game.
Your adventure begins once you select your starting Pokémon. Capturing and training Pokémon, battling trainers, collecting gym badges, and conquering the Elite 4 await you on this exciting trip. Pretty much like any Pokemon game really.

So, what's the twist that PokéOne throws at you? Well, this game is a MMO, with a large number of other players that have a passion for Pokémon. You can ask others to trade, combat, or converse with you. The community is kind and welcoming to newcomers, so, if you ever feel stuck, you may always ask for aid from others.
In any event, the Pokeone website provides a pokedex that has a wealth of information about where to locate individual Pokémon, their rarity, if they occur in specific weather, and so on.

As a result of its popularity, there are a large number of players all on a single server. I have read that it is sometimes a bit unreliable, with the servers being entirely down for many hours. I never noticed any problem though and had a fantastic time.
This free game appeals to me since it has mmo elements and functions effectively. You may play the Story PokeOne alone or in a multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, there aren't many combat animations, however, they did an excellent job with the various areas and Poké's, the graphics look superb I think. I can see they have many competions and community events at certain dates, like for example they may have a special Easter Pokemon battle.

As far as I'm aware, this game is only accessible for PC and Android devices (running Android OS version 7.0 and up, so any new mobile from the last 5 years).
This game is completely free to play. (well, I think you can donate some money to advance quicker). The download link for the PokeOne free MMORPG game is here, simply go to their Discord and download.

Hope you enjoyed this review.

Monster MMORPG, completely free MMORPG that is like Pokemon

Monster MMORPG, completely free MMORPG that is like Pokemon.

The makers say the resemblance to a Pokemon game is just coincidental because Monster MMORPG is packed with fresh content. To me it seems very, very close to the Pokemon Pets game I just reviewed, same site setup as well and I have just read it the same developer. He made this game and then did tweaks and also made Pokemon Pets.

The game is completely free to play and you don’t need to download and install, the game runs completely on any web browser.

Monster MMORPG offers a whopping 83 fully distinct maps, ranging from Palladium Town to Vulture Rocks and everything in between! The great majority of these maps allow players to seek for Monsters to add to their collection, with a total of 659 Monsters of every colour, shape, and size.

With so many Monsters to catch, players are encouraged to continue through the game by utilising ships as their primary mode of transportation to different landmasses until they are able to teach a Monster a special move that allows them to cross the ocean or fly them straight to their goal.

The maximum number of monsters you can carry is six, with any creatures caught in excess being transferred to your personal supply. You may defeat a renowned trainer and win an accomplishment pin in each major city's arena. This makes room for additional maps to be discovered, as well as landscapes with more varied and powerful enemies.

Monster MMORPG's Monster Centres and Shops serve as the Averium Isles' medical and storage centres. Monster Boxes, which are used to catch Monsters, and Tasty Potions, which are helpful for mending Monsters on the fly, are examples of items sold by the game. Every shop you visit has two types of merchandise: stuff sold by the game and items sold by the players.
The Bazaar, on the other hand, is mostly utilised for selling and exchanging Monsters. The Bazaar is mostly used to trade and sell duplicate or uncommon Monsters. A tier system is used to determine the rarity of monsters. The levels are as follows: Regular - Superior - Emissary - Zenith - Legendary. The value of the top levels is increased due to their scarcity.

Players will face several types of landscapes as well as a variety of Monster habitats on their quest. Players may use the built-in chat and private message system while on the road. The conversation is separated into 32 different languages, allowing you to type in your local tongue regardless of where you are from.

There are so many options in this game. Actually it seems limitless to how you can customise the whole thing. And because of this the UI of this MMORPG is completely cluttered, making it difficult to figure out what you need to do in order to play. For beginners or young players, this is quite difficult it's not that intuitive. But, man, pretty impressive as to what this one person has developed.

The makers say there is well over a million registered players, not how many play at once but a million registered is a pretty impressive number for a fan made MMORPG game.

Pokemon Pets - a free online role-playing game

Pokemon Pets - a free online role-playing game

PokemonPets is another unauthorised Pokemon-themed indie web game created by fans. You can collect, train, and battle with your favourite Pokemon in Pokemon Pets. It's a free online role-playing game with players from all around the world.
Whether you're collecting or PVPing PokemonPets is a completely free online role-playing game (correct, there is no charge).
Play the game completely in your browser, no plugins or downloads are required. Playing on mobile devices (touch devices) like Samsung phones and Apple iPad tablets is also fully supported. I have tried the game on Microsoft Edge, Windows as well as Chrome and Firefox, all work perfectly.

There are over 3,500 distinct Pokémon, including Fakemon, fusions, and more, and because of the games exclusive systems, it means each Pokémon is unique. So you can collect your favourite Pokemon from your favourite Pokemon games, or you can build your team up with some interesting new Fake Pokemon that has been created by the players in the game community.

There is exciting live PVP (player versus player) combat, challenging NPC trainers, and terrifying gyms , just a few of the game's features. They say there is over 520 maps, and I have found the gameplay to be incredibly fluid and smooth, theres also a cat system and private communications, and an easy-to-use market system built into this great game.

The makers say that if you like to play old school Pokemon games or the Pokemon GO game then you should try PokemonPets

Only a small review today. Give it a go and let me know.

Pokemon Dawn, a free to play online Pokemon MMORPG game

Just a a bit of a review here.

Pokemon Dawn is a free to play online Pokemon MMORPG game that does not require a download.

Pokemon Dawn is browser-compatible with all new browsers Chrome, Edge, and Firefox and I have tried Safari on an Apple Mac and its fine. When trying to play on a mobile phone or tablet they say the Puffin browser is the best option, but I don’t know, Chrome worked fine for me to play, I don’t even know what the Puffin browser is.

Pokemon Dawn is a Pokemon game designed specifically for fans of the original Pokemon Red and Blue. The developers say they envisions Pokemon Dawn at the Kanto Region 20 years after the events of the original Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow games. The fight mechanism has been designed to mimic these classic games.

This plays like most free fan based Pokemon games. There is another Pokemon Dawn game but is completely different to this, seems to be a Pokemon zombie type game. I will review it another day.

Today I’m back with another Pokemon review. Pokemon Dawn, this is an online Pokemon MMORPG game that's actually very intriguing; it has a lot of unique features that I haven't seen in many other games, and I'd want to go through some them with you today.

So, if you're all psyched to read this, whether you ever go through the instructions here to see how the game actually works, let's just go ahead and check at it right now. as well as some instructions, hello and welcome to Pokemon Dawn. There’s a brief recap of the controls: can you just use WASD or the keyboard or what you call arrow keys or whatever these days, or can you use shift or Z while walking or strolling about to run, you can use X to interact with items and T to toggle chat input.

You may rearrange your team's line-up by clicking on your Pokemon when you aren’t playing and then dragging the order of the team.

So guys, at the first gym in the game you can tell its slow, so if you're wondering why it's sluggish and things, that's because it's still in development, so check quickly any options to help. Mute the audio so you can hear what you're saying. Actually, you can silence the audio, but I don't think I'll want to do that. I think what I'll would want to do is just slightly decrease the audio so it's not extremely loud because right now it's just incredibly loud and for some reason it makes the game slow.

There are a few things I want to tell you about this game that are genuinely being improved and added, like a lot of stuff. So if you buy an outfit, you can get a tiny bit of an image of how Jesse appears. So it's a very amazing game, it's looking well, and I'm interested to see where it goes. I purchased weed water in the shop while playing as this MagiKarp, and it looks quite awesome to be honest.

To be honest, I like rapid combat with no animations, which I think is a good thing. Many individuals can complain about such things, with many others asking why the heck you wouldn't want to witness the animations of your assaults. The reason behind this is that this is an MMORPG, and an MMORPG is designed to be grind levels, and having to watch every animation while playing in a grinding game isn't going to work out well. It'll get dull, and it'll take you too long to really grind up and achieve your levels, so it's preferable to simply skip past all the useless things like animations.

So, when you want to heal up right now, the Pokemon nurse isn't present since a lot of things in the game are being corrected. I've noticed modifications while playing; as I previously stated, the game is still under development and will improve over time. To be honest, the game will be updated and worked on for the rest of its life.

So, if you want to give it a shot, there will be a link to the game at the bottom of this article.

There's a tiny amount of latency here and there that you may have to deal with, but generally, it's a really great looking game. I mean, I'd say the visuals are probably the nicest part, but for me, the mapping looks beautiful; it's extremely clean and attractive, and the Pokemon lab, which you can enter and actually acquire your Pokemon, looks wonderful.

You can browse to their forums for news and announcements, you can chat, Pokedex is actually operating, they made it work. That's awesome. So Pokedex is functioning, and we check how far down we can go, and we go all the way to Hoopa and Volcanion, which is really cool. You don't see the rarity of certain Pokemon; it only indicates the rarity of Pokemon that can be caught, not the ultimate evolutions.

Pokemon Dawn, a free to play online Pokemon MMORPG game

Pokémon Planet is a brand new Pokémon fan game

Because of its open-world features, Pokémon Planet is a free Pokémon fan game that deserves to be on your list of games to try out. Brand New, well not really it has been around a while but it feels a new and polished game. The game is a free MMORPG that uses original sprite assets from the earlier generation 1, 2, and 3 games to create a large 2D open world where you may capture, train, and battle Pokémon. You know , the typical fan games for Pokemon.

I think one of the most important aspects of this game is that it is only available online. Yes, the game is a browser-based programme that requires no downloads. So the game may be played anywhere, and the save state is entirely kept online. Players may easily log in and play from any laptop or phone, at any time and from any location. And with my playing it worked fine on Firefox and Google Chrome browsers.
All you need is an email address to make an account, gmail worked fine for me.

Because the game is online some people may feel the game is a little slow but I didn’t notice any problems on a 5 year old laptop, although I must say my internet is not slow though so that would help. You can go into Setting options and turn on/off a few things that may help you. Enable Fast battles with less animations, as is the ability to disable the game's audio or animations. Weather animations can also be turned off by players. These settings are ideal for older laptop or PC models that may be unable to manage the game's hectic online component but as I said, I didn’t notice a problem.

There are hundreds of Pokémon to train and capture on Pokémon Planet, which includes all of the iconic Pokémon from these generations. Pokémon Planet includes all of the game's original regions as well as additional ones. Clans, for example, are new aspects in Pokémon that have never been seen before. Clans allow you to establish fighting groups with other players with the sole goal of being the strongest clan. Because it combines old nostalgic graphics with an open-world large multiplayer experience, Pokémon Planet merits a spot on this list. Pokémon Planet will appeal to fans of the original games.

The game has the feature that you can determine which Pokemon are accessible around the player's present location Simply use the in-game chat to do this and typing /pokemon you will be presented with a handy list of every Pokemon and their rarities accessible in your location as well as the Route or area name. Just typing /help in the chat window will show the list of commands available, /pokemon is just one command.

There is a EXP share option, when EXP Share is enabled, the leader of the group receives 50% of the points gained during a combat (unless they faint during battle). The remaining 50% is divided among the remaining party members, regardless of their number. Meaning if there is three players the leader gets 50% of the points and the other two would get 25% each.

Pokemon Planet provides the capacity to travel fast (like the genuine games do). The basic options are still available; trainers may take the ferry to other ports, surf with a Pokémon, and add a board to increase speed. There's also a bike, which can be purchased at the bike store in Cerulean City for 50,000 PokeBucks. By pressing 'B,' you may activate the bike. The game makes use of the ability to ride Pokemon through Surf or Land Mounts which are acquired using tournament.

Another useful tip for novice Pokemon Planet players: Pokemon will heal as they level up! This is significant because it prevents trainers from using unneeded goods or moves to replenish health bars when they are close to levelling up. This is a fantastic addition to the game, and it should be included in more mainstream games as well. Unfortunately, for the time being, this function is only available in Pokemon Planet. There are two traditional methods for levelling up Pokemon: battling trainers and grinding through wild Pokemon fights, or utilising rare sweets.

There is also a significant amount of online interaction with other players. Clans may be formed in order to fight large battles together and have some fun. There are chat capabilities (more on that later!) as well as other social features like direct messaging, blocking, and so on. You have the option of blocking any swearing if you want that.

The easily available guide tool on Pokemon Planet is something that many players are unaware of. If players open the chat window and type '/guide' while playing the game, they will be immediately redirected to the Quick Find Guide, which was built for Planet. This can rapidly address many of the questions that players have.
There is also a tutorial guide on the forum for a more in-depth look at how to play the game. This can be found on the Pokemon Planet site and includes well-written sections on everything to help you out and there’s also a Wiki page dedicated to the game.

The Global Market is a clever addition to Pokemon Planet. The market spans the whole world in real-time for all players to check out. Health items, ornamental and and even Pokemon may be purchased by players. Pokemon may be found by level, kind, and even shiny.

Fan-Made Online Game, Pokémon World Online Review

Pokémon World Online is a free MMO fangame with a thriving community, a fully developed Kanto and Johto area, and constantly gets new updates. The developers organise events on a regular basis, ranging from mapping contests to large events featuring entirely new locations and, of course, the Rare Pokemon that you can try and capture for yourself.

Pokémon World Online (PWO) is a game for the whole family. While playing the game, you may meet people from all walks of life, from all walks of life, and from almost every country on the planet. While the game requires players to be 18 years of age or older to establish an account, a younger player can join the game with parental authorisation.

Pokémon World Online is still classed as a beta game, even though it is years and years old, and is developed by Kyrocorp, they released it for the first time on December, 2007. The game uses the graphics looks that are based on the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen versions of the game, with minor overlap with the Pokémon Emerald edition. The game offers an online chat room where you may ask for help or request trades or battles, but I think just about all of these fan made Pokemon games offer chat now as well as Private Messaging.

In terms of Pokémon MMO games, Pokémon World Online (PWO) is a seasoned veteran. Regardless of its age, it's still one of the greatest online Pokémon games available. It's also one of the most comprehensive when it comes to Pokémon stats and feature availability.

PWO is a stand-alone application, so it's a little more comprehensive than browser-based choices available. When compared to other, more popular versions of the same sort, this allows for a certain smoothness and polish that makes it feel a bit like a genuine Pokemon MMORPG.

This Pokémon browser game has a very customisable user interface. Instead of a changing environment, you may customise the game design to your preferences and concentrate on the combat rather than the setting. It has a similar Pokémon feel to it, but with more planned gameplay that is sure to keep both old and new Pokémon fans entertained for hours.

New players begin with a tutorial map and are pushed to battle their way through a succession of Gyms in order to be eligible to battle world-class trainers, much as in our favourite handheld games. The difference in this edition of the Pokemon games is that the player will compete in real-time against a large number of other players. The game also gives you unlimited access to player-versus-player battles. While participating in PvP battles is not required, all players will ultimately face off against computer-controlled Gym leaders and trainers. There is a broad selection of Pokemon to hunt and evolve for those who prefer not to battle, some of which are easier to find depending on the time of day and location.

The last update in the Pokémon World Online game, I think, came out around mid 2021 for a Windows install.

As always, let me know what you think. https://pokemon-world-online.com

Pokemon Showdown , another great Fan made free Pokemon game.

Pokémon Showdown is a free online battle simulator game built by fans that allows you to construct your own Pokémon squad. Pokémon Showdown concentrates solely on the battling aspects of the series, providing you unrestricted access to all Pokémon and the opportunity to create teams at random.
It has a number of servers as well as a variety of features such as fan-made tiers and chatrooms to suit your preferences.

Pokémon Showdown is a tremendously popular online competitive fight simulator that caters to Pokémon lovers. The fan game also features forums where you can discuss the ideal fighting methods with other players. Because it offers a large online battle experience with unlimited access to every Pokémon not currently accessible in the main series games, Pokémon Showdown deserves to be on your list of free games to play.

Pokémon Showdown! is a well-known competitive Pokemon game. They say it was constructed in October 2011, although it was not recognised as Smogon's official battle simulator until July 2012. Pokémon Showdown is a fully web-based project that should run on all major browsers, allowing everyone to play this free Pokemon game. I have tried t on bothe Google Chrome browser and Firefox and it works great on both.

Pokémon Showdown was created to imitate the conditions of Wi-Fi Pokemon games in a more steady environment, meaning it will be easier for people to participate in competitive Pokemon games. They offer a fantastic tutorial that describes how Pokémon Showdown works and helps new players join into the community.
They have also just recently added a Google AI (Artemis?) to the chat system so mods are notified if abuse is happening. Its good to no they are trying to keep this game safe for players as its getting fairly popular and would be hard to monitor otherwise. Artemis is a neural-net chat monitor that monitors every ladder combat chamber on the simulator using the technology of Google's Perspective product.

The teambuilder is a key feature of Pokémon Showdown, it allows you to form your own teams from the ground up, play on other people's teams, or alter any of their existing ones. Some simulator formats do not need you to create a squad and allow you to leap right into battle for example the popular "Random Battle" mode is an example of this.
The process of forming a team is rather self-explanatory because the teambuilder guides you through each step. You can customise a Pokemon's item, ability, moves, stats, and other characteristics such as its level (from 1 to 100), gender (None, Random, Male, or Female), happiness, and whether it is shiny.

In most rooms the language is English only but there are quite a few language-specific rooms for Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, and Turkish.

try it and let me know what you think of this game pokemonshowdown.com

The Ten Best Fan Made Pokemon Games That Are Free.

This review is what I believe are the top ten, best free Pokemon online games.
There are a heap of different free Pokémon games around. Some are fan made Pokemon games not just copies of the original games that you use an emulator to play. These are real fan made Pokemon games. If you want the originals you are best to pay for them, these Fan made ones and are all free.

These Pokemon fans have used their great skills to make their own Pokémon quests, sometimes they modify existing games ROMs and hack new stories and graphics to them as well as completely original fan games that introduce new creatures, stories, and even gameplay mechanics.
Copies of the originals need Emulators to play the Roms, there’s many emulators around that work on Windows PCs, Apple Macs, Android phones. Even the great little RetroPIE is fantastic for playing emulated original Pokemon games.

But here, I’ll be highlighting the best Pokémon fan games that manage to introduce new ideas while staying true to the spirit of the original games, not the ROM hacks.
Here, I am concentrating on purely Fan made Pokemon games so here’s the current TOP TEN.

1.    Pokémon Uranium
2.    Pokémon Spectrum
3.    Pokemon Insurgence
4.    Pokemon Reborn
5.    Pokémon 3D
6.    Phoenix Rising
7.    Pokémon Clockwork
8.    PokéMMO
9.    Pokemon Apex
10.  Pokemon Island

Number 1.     Pokémon Uranium https://pokemonuranium.co

Pokemon Uranium is a fan made game using RPG Maker XP and was first released in 2016. This is an interesting game because most fan games use resources from a particular generation. This game mixes and matches from the different Pokemon DS games.

The game is based around the Tandor district, an explosion from a Nuclear Plant causes a lot of destruction, and the main character loses his mum and ends up living with his auntie.  This is where the player captures Pokemon along the way and battle and win 8 Gym Badges so as to contend in the Tandor Regional Championship. En-route, the player can build their PokéDex with more than 190 unique types of Pokémon, including a shiny new Pokemon type, called Nuclear.

The exciting thing I found with Nuclear types is that they are super-effective against all other types except Steel. There is also Corrupted Nuclear Pokemon. They are far more aggressive but using Corrupted Nuclear can be risky because they can also disobey your orders in battle.

I really like this game, its well made and when I played the community seemed very active.
The game uses the guts of Soul Silver & Heart Gold and the Diamond & Pearl games for the world but when you are in battle it uses a more refined and less pixelated version from the Black and White games.

The game is for the Windows PC only and is free to play so just get the Pokemon Uranium download and install, there is no Pokemon Uranium Rom needed.

Number 2.    Pokémon Spectrum https://p-spectrum.fandom.com

Pokemon Spectrum is another good fan game made Essentials and the usual RPG maker. This free game was started around 2014 and is still available.

The plot of this Pokemon RPG is that you are living in a new region Kroma, in a tiny town called Lildune. You, the player, go off to explore the area that has Pokemon that can't be found in other places. Pokemon like Kokoala (looks like an Aussie Koala) is a Grass-type Pokémon, it evolves into Cocombat (looks a bit like a Wombat), which then evolves into Dropokol (I am guessing a spin on the Australian legend of a Drop Bear). Theres lots of cool really unique Pokemon like that.

The maker says Kroma is based on the country Australia and that cities and towns are inspired by the actual cities and towns of Australia. I don’t know about that, I am from Australia and I didn’t recognise anything except for the actual Pokemon.

The game up until now takes place in Western Australia and the Northern Territory, and future releases will have places from the other States of Australia. So far the current game features over 80 new Pokémon and 3 Gyms, and each new release adds more.

You’ll get the pokemon spectrum full game download on the link, not sure if there’s a Pokemon Spectrum download for Android.

Number 3.    Pokemon Insurgence https://p-insurgence.com

Pokemon Insurgence is a challenging fan-made Pokémon game, built using the common RPG Maker XP that a lot of game makers use.

It based in a brand new region, the Torren Region, with cool features like Delta Pokemon, you can mix the genes of two Pokémon to create a third completely different one, Armored Pokemon, Secret Bases, Online Trading and Character customisation.

The new region means all new towns and maps and the storyline filled with cultist leaders and Pokémon experimentation. The plot means different play, you can be the hero in the Torren region or watch out as cults can overtake the whole shebang. A much darker tale when compared to the official Nintendo games.

There’s Mega Evolutions for both old and new Pokemon , a new type of Held-Item called Armors will massively increase the defence of a Pokemon and it won’t require a turn to activate them.
All the Pokemon are available to Catch, all of them all the way up to the 6th Generation Pokemon.
What a great free Pokemon game, another that I liked to play. Is Pokemon Insurgence a safe game to play, of course it is.

This can run on a Windows PC easily and on an Apple Mac with a tiny bit of work to get it running, but the game is only playable on MacOS versions before 10.15 (Catalina), because of Apple dropping support for 32-bit games. Sorry but that is Apple doing their thing and not want to support or help people with 32 bit software. You don’t need a Pokemon insurgence download for gba emulator to play

Number 4.    Pokemon Reborn https://www.rebornevo.com/pr/index.html

My Pokémon Reborn review, it is another completely new fan game created using RPG Maker and is meant to have around 55 hours of gameplay around a huge playing world. The game certainly looks good and very interesting.

Pokemon Reborn is made to be like an Emerald style downloadable RPG game and has all the parts up to 7th generation. And it has an online battle system and trading, a great feature.
The Pokemon Reborn world is covered with black smog, pollution and acidic water. The cities have crime all around, and the buildings etc are crumbling. The idea of the game is that you fight to bring back Reborn to its old good prosperous times. You can use field effects, and the terrain to overpower and beat your challenger and so 807 Pokemon are available to catch collect in the game and battle all 18 types of Gym Leaders.

Download Pokémon Reborn as a desktop game for the Windows PC. There also may be a Pokemon reborn APK download and a Pokemon reborn download mac version.
Is Pokemon Reborn or Rejuvenation better, I like Reborn to be honest?

Number 5.    Pokémon 3D https://pokemon3d.net

I have reviewed Pokémon 3D before  and it’s a great fan-made Pokemon project. A cover version of the Pokémon Gold and Silver RPG games, Pokémon 3D plays these games in a full 3D style.

While Pokémon 3D online is still the typical Pokémon RPG adventure format, the impressive 3D effect gives the original game a whole new life with additional content and a co-op mode. Which makes it well worth playing.

The game is not in active development by the developer himself anymore, but there are some people from the games community that are still maintaining the game and the last update was only a few months ago, so still an active game.

The game is for PC only and its downloaded and installed, not browser based.

Number 6.    Pokemon Phoenix Rising https://phoenix-rising-wiki.fandom.com/wiki/Phoenix_Rising_Wiki

Pokémon: Phoenix Rising is an exceptional and free fan made episodic Pokémon RPG developed using RPG Maker XP and the Pokémon Essentials engine. It was started quite a while ago now and still being developed constantly so players should expect occasional updates and improvements on this game, bug fixes should be done now (2020 sometime).

The game is set in a original region known as Hawthorne, it’s a war-torn area. The game is about you, the player, needing to restore peace to the region and to be able to do that you have to resurrect the legendary Pokemon Ho-oh and using it to overthrow the oppressive king.

You can be a player Aria or Alto and have different customs hair etc, which is a nice touch.
This game makes you choose decisions while you are going through the game during the main and side quests, the story can change and have different ending depending on what you have chosen during the game.

There was going to be online elements but it seems they have removed that option from the game.
The game is only being released on Windows, but they say a Mac version will also be made later on (I am doubting that will happen to be honest). Pokemon Phoenix Rising download 2020 Episode One: Beyond Home is available at the moment. But no known date what Episode 2 of Pokemon Phoenix Rising download will be out, no Pokémon phoenix rising episode 2 release date, sorry.

Number 7.    Pokémon Clockwork
https://pokemonclockwork.wixsite.com/clockworkgame

Pokémon Clockwork is yet another game that was created using Pokémon Essentials (they all seem to use RPG Maker and Essentials). As a player you must travel around the countryside region of Rosari. The game story is that mythical Pokémon Celebi has travelled back in time to warn you about an impending attack about to happen by Team Epsilon that will leave Rosari region destroyed. You have to stop Team Epsilon before it’s too late.

Pokemon Clockwork has pokemon from Generation 1-4 and introduces a whole heap of interesting features that some other Fan games don’t like a time travel system, a quest system, night and day cycles and even Pokémon that can evolve during a battle.

This seems to be PC only, no Pokemon Clockwork GBA download and updates are very slow (or not happening at all). Current version is 1.9.0, it does seem like it is finished/ completed to me.
Give it a try it seems good in my personal opinion.

Number 8.     PokéMMO https://pokemmo.eu

PokeMMO is, as you probably can tell, a free Pokémon MMORPG with the looks and graphical style of the normal great looking 2D pokemon game. Originally, the game was restricted to smaller versions of the regions around Kanto and Hoenn but more recently another two regions have been added, the Sinnoh and the Unova region from Gen IV. So four regions to explore and battle in.

In it, players can battle, trade, and even form teams with other players online. Automatic tournaments randomly happen where heaps of players can join in.

I like the idea of Pokemmo a lot, I really do, but I just find that the game itself doesn't appeal to me at all and I think it’s really because I only like solo PvE (Player Vs Environment) games instead.
If you like huge battles and like Pokemon, this is for you.

PokeMMO is for PC but there is also an App version, PokeMMO Pokemon MMO for Android is available to download here.

Number 9.    Pokemon Apex https://apex.iamvishnu.net

Pokémon Apex review is another fan game I have recently heard about. And, typically, this game was created in RPG Maker XP and also uses the Pokémon Essentials frame. The game started development in December of 2014 and is still being updated, not sure how much though as they say its still in Alpha.

In Pokémon Apex, you play as a high schooler in the lively world of Nascene City and you discover a dark cult who are determined on causing the annihilation of both your world and the Pokemon world.
What makes Apex Pokemon different for other fan Pokemon games is they have ramped up the difficulty, this is not an easy kids game like the original carts.

Apex will not be unplayable difficult, but it means players have to make careful choices about their team and their playing style. Pokémon Apex is a exciting adult view on the Pokémon universe with some real world problem to think about. There’s a terrific sense of mystery in the game storyline, and even the occasional f*** word and other swearing in the dialog to help to remind me this isn’t the Pokemon games that I played as a kid.

There’s a definite sense of horror in the gameplay, it’s very subtle but yet is there and I love the the darker atmosphere. The music is not bad as well btw.

Theres a PC download available but I don’t think there is a Pokemon Apex ROM Android apk available.

Number 10.    Pokemon Island https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=281807

This fan made game is not too bad . You explore Pokemon Island, it’s a very open world experience, not like normal Pokemon games, kinda like a Pokémon simulator, only one town with heaps around it like minigames, trade centre, casino, colosseum and dungeons. You meet Pokemon trainers who aims to seek Mew, the rarest Pokemon in the island and battle your way to the top of the colleseum and unlock all the dungeons.

649 pokémon from generation 5 are open from the start to find and capture and no gyms, just the Colleseum. Something different and good for a battle or two.

This is a game with the usual Pokémon RPG style like for the Game Boy and Nintendo DS, but with a different slant, almost nothing is essential to move forward, travel around and try all things and battle, battle, battle. The is completed and ready to download and play for free.

The Oddest Places You'll Find Free Pokemon Online Games?

Pokemon has caught youngsters imaginations, worldwide, since it first began way back in 1995. This game has stayed well-liked and also has nice buying and selling cards, a cartoon series, incredible motion pictures plus tons of pretty toys to collect. One of the most loved video games on the planet would be Pokemon. First appearing in the nineties, the game has remained well-liked to this day. This game has been made in so many alternative versions such as gold, silver, platinum, green, red and yellow. Players, known as Pokemon trainers, can use a number of modes to play Pokemon. These games can be found on all types of Nintendo machines like gameboys, Wii, Wii U, the DS range, Switch and Switch Lite.

And this large popularity, and the web, has introduced along another thing for Pokemon in the style of free online Pokemon games. There would be, at this moment, hundreds of different Pokemon video games online starting from puzzle games, card video games to great free Pokemon RPG and MMORPG games. One such game is called the Pokemon Crater, where players can acquire their very own Pokemon and do battle with them in a web based arena. And for people that need lots of action in their Pokemon game this might be an ideal choice.

A free game to try is Pokemon Bricks, a type of Tetris game to play online but based on characters like Pikachu. Plus there are games which have just one or two characters from the series and you get to play as them in an adventure type game. It is ideal for those who want a story to work with, and it additionally has the right amount of action to keep things challenging.

In this Pokemon Brick Tetris style game is much the same as normal Tetris in that you will have to align the pictures of Poke character heads of the same Pokémon. To do this, you use the left and right arrows and other controls like turn and drop to the correct place to position them correctly and then it makes them a combo and disappears. Each time you do it it earns some points to your score and it gets faster and faster the longer you are in the game. The game finishes when the Pokemons get to the top of the screen and you can’t make any more moves in the game.

The Pokemon Brick game is simple to play but addictive just like the original Tetris game. Pokémon Tetris, it's free and is browser based so can be played on any computer Winder or Apple Mac, it even is a game I can play on my Apple iPad, my iPhone and my Android phone and no app of download to be done.

Pokemon Crater, I Choose You!

One nice choice for players is playing the game online. Pokemon Crater was one of the most popular ways to play Pokemon in the world.

Pokemon Crater was a web site created not too long after the release of the original game, in the late nineties. A teenager named Aaron was the creator and webmaster . Aaron was a diehard Pokemon fan and needed to find a way to play Pokemon with a close buddy that had moved away. Therefore, Crater was born and was soon being used by thousands of people across the world. The site was much like the traditional Pokemon game, allowing players to move around different maps, discovering and capturing Pokemon. The game had plenty of updates all the time, so it kept enhancing the game play for the players. The greatest update must be when they made it so online players could work together with other gamers and battle against each others Pokemon. The website listed the current top trainers, and to be included on this listing was thought of an honor in the world of Pokemon.

Pokemon Crater additionally has had a few different things that the regular Pokemon video games did not have, one of these was a completely new Pokemon character called Dratinice.

Unfortunately, Aaron had to shut Crater at the end of 2007, because he could not find the time to dedicate to the administration of the site. But many players had been delighted to find out that many more Pokemon Crater type games started popping up - just as good as this one.

Demand for these types of Pokemon online games is growing all the time and helping to make sure new games will keep being made. So, whether or not you simply want to play a web based card game, battle people with Pokemon or simply train a Pokemon critter to be its best there is for certain a game out there for you. It simply means you do not have to buy a console or DS or Gameboy to play. Moreover, making the games free doesn't hurt either. Now all you need to do is go out and catch your very own Pokemon.

New Updates to the Free Online Pokemon Blog.

I am thinking I had better update this Blog.

Surely there are a lot more free online Pokemon games around now that I can review.

Any hints. please leave a comment.

Pokemon3D, THE greatest free Poke game found online?

This new Pokemon free game is called Pokemon3D. Pokémon3D is a re-invention of the classic Pokémon Gold and Silver games by Nintendo and was chosen by the developer (who is still in high school i think) because these were the first real Pokemon games he played and I guess loved them because of that .
As always you need to be the top Pokemon trainer of all time but you do this all in realtime 3D – you go around the grasslands and capture, battle and defeat wild Pokemon, you can also walk around towns collecting items and Pokemon just like a real Pokemon game. The best part, apart from the great 3D and that this Pokemon game is free, is that you can play with a friend in LAN co-op, it would be great if this part could be completely online so you could play against friends around the world. It says the game is currently under development and features are added frequently so maybe this will be an option one day.

It’s true, Pokémon3D does remind me of Minecraft because of the cool pixelated style but that is tpart of the charm of it. You can look around freely like all 3D games but just like real, official Pokemon games you can only move about straight forward, straight back, straight to the sides.

This free game looks like it is updated almost weekly. The latest version out at the moment is Pokémon3D v0.23 and it contains a few new features. They list them as…
• Resizeable game window
• English and German Language selection (I guess more languages are planned for later)
• Content packs (Content packs are basically texture packs, you can replace the original textures with your own.)
• Daycare system ( That’s where you can drop of Pokemon that you have captured to be raised in the care of other people.)
• New moves (recoil moves, transform and others)
• Gate map between Ilex Forest and Route 34
• Autosave (If you quit to the menu, save the game or enter a wild Pokémon battle, the game autosaves your current save state.)
• Map is redone
• Updated the Trainer AI
This is a windows only game, sorry any Mac fans but you miss out.
The new version is obtainable in the launcher and they have only just updated that a few days ago. The new launcher has a number of new functions and settings and you will need it if you want the newer versions of the free game.
I am sure there is more to talk about, hopefully the developer can comment here and add a little more.

Would this be the coolest free Pokemon Online RPG - Pokemon Survival Island

Pokémon Survival Island. I stumbled upon this free Pokemon online RPG for the Mac or PC just the other day. It isn’t released yet but the developer, ferriswheel42, says it should release a demo on the 1st of March. What I see looks pretty good for a fan made free Poke game. They say that Pokemon: Survival Island will change how you play Pokémon because all the Pokemon Centres, Poke Shops and Gyms are gone. So are all the houses, villagers and welcoming Professors. This leaves only you the player and all the wild Pokemon – all 386 of them. And it also has a cryptic note that says someone out there wants you very, very dead, whatever that could mean!!

The game was at first envisioned to link Pokémon gameplay and Minecraft gameplay, but swiftly became research in game design. More on the Pokemon/Minecraft later on in the article.

So what’s the plot story in this game? You the player, are an intern employed by Silph Co., you are involved in a is the only survivor of a treacherous boat crash, and now you are shipwrecked on a uninhabited, forsaken island. You have only basic supplies and the remaining Pokémon where you must try to stay alive in unfriendly surroundings. You begin to reveal the mysteries of an ancient civilisation and the further you explore this rough country the more you realise that the boat crash was not an accident. Pretty good premise for a freebie Pokemon game isn’t it?

Seeing the Player is all by themselves on this deserted island, they must cope with what is around them. There are small areas (camps) set up in caves and other protective areas and they have worktables, distilling pots and mortar and pestles for item making. They also have beds for sleeping and chests for storing items and your Pokémon. You start with one base camp but the further you get in the game the more supplies you collect to furnish extra camps.

This game has a crafting component, they say it was motivated by Minecraft. Crafting is a way for you to acquire items seeing, as I mentioned above, that shops do not exist on Pokemon Survival island. In your travels you will run into a number of plants that have berries etc. You need to farm these and then go to your camp and use the workbenches, brewing pots and mortar and pestles to create all types of items like Poke Balls and Vitamins.

Even though there will be weak and strong wild Pokémon encounters they are proportionally adjusted to the average level of the player's party but could still mean that sometimes you will stumble upon a wild Pokémon that will be stronger than the Player's. This makes it harder to catch and harder to escape from but that is the challenge. The developer has also taken some design ideas from Nintendos The Legend of Zelda The island has eight temples built by some ancient civilisation. These temples are full of traps and assortments of all types of mysterious Pokemon but they also contain prehistoric relics that are key to unravelling the mystery of the island.

PokeMMO – a new FireRed Pokemon MMO

This is a new Pokemon MMO game that I heard about on the Australian GoodGame SP TV show – a TV show about video gaming. They had a quick mention of it and a video, so I thought I better track it down and check it out. Going by the video it does look very good.
They say it began because they wanted a thorough Pokemon experience but in a massively multiple online world. PokeMMO is based, at this time, off the Gameboy Advance FireRed version of Pokemon and they are trying to have it exactly like FireRed version but as a MMO of course.
Now this game is a bit different to the other games I have reviewed, the free Pokemon game you need to have the Fire Red Rom to be able to play the MMO game. Maybe they use the basic game data and tack on MMO somehow – clever people they must be.
I haven’t played this one as I don’t have a FireRed ROM, and heard that the movement is a bit jerky but going by their work list they have a lot of the game sorted. Most items are completed such as world data and Pokémon and game play, most important we are waiting for move animations and evolution animation would be nice. Updates are happening all the time, the last one was yesterday.
But remember development of the free game is still in the Alpha stage, not even Beta yet, but even now you can play a game that's full of other online players, you can add friends, battle in tourneys and chat to other players. Hey, have a look and see what you think about it.
